The FC Palestina Jersey 2025 project began with the goal of bringing Palestinian symbolism to life through apparel, directing all proceeds toward humanitarian aid in Gaza. The design incorporates deep cultural iconography, fusing the classic kuffiyeh pattern into the shape of a watermelon, integrating Arabic typography for the word "Palestine" on the front, and transforming the back numbering into an infinity symbol filled with the word "Palestine" in English.
PROBLEM
The core challenge was translating complex political, cultural, and human rights symbolism into a functional sportswear design that felt authentic, resonant, and visually striking rather than performative. It required balancing subtle artistic motifs with a bold statement of identity and resilience that could connect emotionally with an international audience.
SOLUTION
By blending meaningful symbolic details with high concept design, the jersey achieved massive global resonance, completely selling out within its first month due to overwhelming demand across the UK and Europe. The project successfully bridged creative direction and social impact, turning a personal design initiative into a tangible vehicle for solidarity and humanitarian aid.
